We’re looking for a storyteller in the borough of Rochdale
We’re looking for a creative, community-minded storyteller to help us capture and share the stories of people making things happen across Rochdale.
There’s no shortage of brilliant people, bold ideas and good things happening across the borough. We want to get out there, find those stories and make sure more people hear about them.
If you love meeting people, have a knack for telling a good story and care about Rochdale and its future, we want to hear from you.
Location: Based in or very close to Rochdale
Salary: £250-350/day for a consultancy contract. If you would prefer to be employed, we will agree a pro-rata salary adjusted to reflect holiday, pension and other employment benefits.
Contract: Part-time, 1 day/week – offered as either an employment contract or a consultancy contract
Reporting to: Place Lead, Rochdale, working closely with the Head of Communications
About the role
You’ll work alongside our For Generations To Come team meeting local people, capturing stories and creating content that brings the work happening across the borough to life.
From photography and video to social media and written stories, you’ll help shine a light on the people, projects and ideas shaping Rochdale’s future.
