Welcoming Phoebe to Our Future

Welcoming Phoebe to Our Future

We’re excited to welcome Phoebe Rudgard to the team as she joins us as Head of Scaling Impact while Angela Francis is on maternity leave.

Throughout her career, Phoebe has built partnerships and designed collaborative programmes that help organisations tackle shared challenges and maximise their impact. That experience will strengthen Our Future’s work as we develop our approach, and build on our learnings from working with communities in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire and Rochdale.

Phoebe began her career as a primary school teacher through Teach First before moving into the charity sector, where she has worked across a range of organisations focused on improving opportunities for young people.

Most recently, Phoebe led the Education Endowment Foundation’s Regional Partnerships strategy across England, working alongside local school and system leaders to address place-based educational challenges. She also led the charity’s Research Schools Network, supporting a national network of schools to embed evidence-informed practice.

As Our Future continues to grow nationally, she’ll be working with more towns, and adapting Our Future’s approach to their strengths and priorities, during the organisation’s next phase of growth.

In Phoebe’s own words:

“What drew me to Our Future is its belief that the people who know a place best should be the ones shaping what comes next. Throughout my career, I’ve seen what’s possible when people come together around a shared purpose and have the support to turn ideas into action.

I’m excited to explore how Our Future’s approach can be adapted to work alongside communities across the country.”

As we continue to grow Our Future’s impact, we’re excited to have Phoebe on the team and look forward to the experience and perspective she’ll bring.
